to the challenges, grabbed an audience within minutes and kept them fully entertained until the end

of the shows. Our audience encompasses a broad international spectrum with varied levels of understanding

the English language and the ¿Qué Bolá? Magic act kept everyone laughing and engage no matter where

they were from. While I wish our outdoor venue could accommodate more of the large illusions,

this was seriously good close-up magic with a fresh sense of humour.

¿Qué Bolá? Magic performed to a packed house on Denman Island.

With humour and inventiveness, the duo of Ariel Morales and Rochelle Allison offered

a sparkling evening of magic, from grand illusions to close-up, all spiced with hot Cuban salsa,

dance routines, sparkling sets and costume changes.

The performance thrilled young and old (you’re never too old for this stuff) and laughter permeated the entire show, as audience members found themselves on stage at times. But the true gem of this show is the artistry of Ariel Morales. The Cuban-born magician has been practicing his craft since he was a mere five years old and he brings an honest professionalism to the stage. One feels they are watching

a true master and one who loves his work. The evening was an inspired delight and
